Cellular Monitoring

What happens if my phone line is cut? Do I really need a phone line to have my system monitored? What are my options?

Whether you have AT&T, Spectrum, or some other provider, your security system transmits signals over their network. If you lose power and your modem goes down, your phone is cut, or your phone provider does updates, your security alarm system is NOT able to communicate to our central station. A solution would be to add a cellular communication module (long range radio device, not a cell phone).
Benefits of Cellular Service:
If you lose phone service, you phone is cut, or you remove your home phone, your system will still be able to communicate with our central station.
With a long range radio device (cellular monitoring), no phone line is needed AND you have the ability to access your security system via your smartphone to check the status and arm/disarm your system remotely.
